Continuing Professional Development

 

Effective continuous professional development is essential for schools wanting to improve outcomes for their pupils, and for staff motivation, recruitment and retention. Whilst one-off training days and external visits are highly enjoyable for staff, their impact is limited. The most effective training takes place in schools and over a period of time.

 

I can offer support in devising and/or delivering training programmes for staff working at all levels of experience but usually work with aspiring and practicing middle and senior leaders

 

• Improving teaching and learning

• Conducting department and curriculum reviews

• Subject Leader training

• Monitoring and evaluating achievement and progress

• Preparing for external visits
